En este contexto, el Instituto Nacional de Hidr\u00e1ulica deb\u00eda realizar un diagn\u00f3stico desde el punto de vista hidr\u00e1ulico de esos 14 puentes en situaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica para lo cual se efectuaron campa\u00f1as de medici\u00f3n en terreno que permitieron analizar el estado de vulnerabilidad hidr\u00e1ulica de las estructuras viales.\n\n2.- Dise\u00f1o sistema de disipaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, Embalse Ancoa, regi\u00f3n del Maule\n\nDesaf\u00edo o problema a resolver: El Embalse Ancoa es una obra construida y en operaci\u00f3n desde el a\u00f1o 2012. Tras algunas crecidas puntuales del r\u00edo Ancoa durante el a\u00f1o 2016 se observ\u00f3 un efecto erosivo al pie de la obra de evacuaci\u00f3n del embalse en el sector destinado a la disipaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda del flujo. Dado lo anterior, la Direcci\u00f3n de Obras Hidr\u00e1ulicas (DOH) debi\u00f3 solicitar una adecuaci\u00f3n del sistema de evacuaci\u00f3n de crecidas del embalse para lograr un \u00f3ptimo y seguro funcionamiento de esta obra. En este contexto, el INH deb\u00eda realizar un estudio mediante modelaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica para analizar el comportamiento hidrodin\u00e1mico del flujo, con objeto de apoyar y validar el dise\u00f1o del salto de esqu\u00ed de la obra de descarga. Una particular complejidad del estudio tuvo relaci\u00f3n con el an\u00e1lisis del despegue del flujo del salto de esqu\u00ed, el cual estaba fuertemente influenciado por la geometr\u00eda del cuenco disipador.\n\n3.- Servicio de apoyo para la generaci\u00f3n de un sistema de predicci\u00f3n de oleaje\n\nDesaf\u00edo o problema a resolver: La Direcci\u00f3n de Obras Portuarias (DOP), del Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas, en conjunto con el programa de desarrollo log\u00edstico del Ministerio de Transporte y Telecomunicaciones solicit\u00f3 la elaboraci\u00f3n de un sistema de pron\u00f3stico de clima de oleaje, con el fin de aumentar la seguridad y eficiencia en las instalaciones portuarias a lo largo del pa\u00eds. El sistema tiene como prop\u00f3sito el desarrollo de una herramienta de predicci\u00f3n de oleaje mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n de modelaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica, estos consideran los procesos f\u00edsicos de generaci\u00f3n y propagaci\u00f3n del oleaje, as\u00ed como su disipaci\u00f3n y transferencia de energ\u00eda.\n\n4.- Estudio de obra de bocatoma Canal Las Palmas, regi\u00f3n de Valpara\u00edso\n\nDesaf\u00edo o problema a resolver: El Embalse Las Palmas es una obra proyectada a construir a unos 17 km al oeste de la localidad de Petorca, destinado a abastecer principalmente las necesidades de riego con un volumen total de 55 millones de m3. El embalse ser\u00e1 alimentado por un canal de 57 km de largo proveniente desde la cuenca del r\u00edo Petorca para lo cual se dispone de una bocatoma que capte las aguas del cauce y sean conducidas al embalse. ARCADIS Chile solicit\u00f3 al INH realizar el estudio en modelo f\u00edsica a escala reducida de la bocatoma del r\u00edo Petorca para analizar el comportamiento hidr\u00e1ulico y sedimentol\u00f3gico del sector donde se proyecta la construcci\u00f3n de la bocatoma y barrera vertedora frontal. Uno de los grandes desaf\u00edos consiste en la fiel reproducci\u00f3n de la tasa de transporte de sedimentos o gasto s\u00f3lido del cauce para crecidas de distintos per\u00edodos de retorno, que determina en gran medida el funcionamiento de la obra en cuesti\u00f3n\n\n5.- Diagn\u00f3stico Playa La Serena\n\nDesaf\u00edo o problema a resolver: Seg\u00fan los informes del IPCC y los estudios recientes, las playas chilenas estar\u00e1n afectas a procesos erosivos en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, resulta entonces relevante disponer de estudios que permitan disponer de informaci\u00f3n para elaborar planes de prevenci\u00f3n y mitigaci\u00f3n de los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico en nuestras costas. Ante eventos ocurridos que generaron grandes da\u00f1os en las costas de la serena, la Direcci\u00f3n de Obras Portuarias (DOP) y Aguas consultores SPA solicitaron el estudio del diagn\u00f3stico de las playa de La Serena, estimando tasas de retroceso de aproximadamente 1 m\/a\u00f1o de la l\u00ednea de costa, en los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os, identificando una disminuci\u00f3n de los aportes de sedimentos del r\u00edo Elqui asociados a la mega sequ\u00eda, la extracci\u00f3n excesiva de \u00e1ridos y el efecto en la parte alta de la cuenca del embalse Puclaro, que repercute negativamente en la playa. Se estiman retrocesos de aproximadamente 30 m a mediados de siglos y 110 m a fines de siglo.\n\n6.- Plan de Infraestructura H\u00eddrica 2020\n\nDesaf\u00edo o problema a resolver: La Direcci\u00f3n General de Obras P\u00fablicas (DGOP) durante el a\u00f1o 2019 realiza el Plan de Inversi\u00f3n en Infraestructura y Gesti\u00f3n H\u00eddrica 2020-2050. Esta consultor\u00eda consisti\u00f3 en tomar este plan y paralelamente realizar un levantamiento de la cartera de iniciativas propuestas en los planes regionales, por cuenca y completar un listado de todas las iniciativas existentes, para 52 cuencas las cuales presentaban iniciativas de obras hidr\u00e1ulicas (estructurales y no estructurales).
